Molten Gold is one of the new Campaign Mastery camos in Black Ops 7, and it shows you put in the work. Some players will try to speed parts of the grind, and a short CoD BO7 Bot Lobby run can help finish repetitive early tasks.
Start with the campaign challenges Molten Gold sits in the Campaign mastery track. To unlock it for one weapon you must first get all the weapon’s Military and Special camos. After that, you must kill 20 Special enemies with that weapon in the Co-op Campaign or main Campaign mode. Those Special enemies are distinct units or mini-bosses that spawn in set places, so you will go back to certain missions to hunt them down.
Know what a “Special” enemy looks like Special enemies tend to be larger or armored foes, or named units that only appear in specific mission events. The kills must be cleanly done with the weapon you want the Molten Gold camo on. Many players find it faster to replay a few missions on a lower difficulty to learn spawn points and then run the same section repeatedly on a higher difficulty once they know where the Special units appear. Mark spots where they spawn so you waste less time looking.
Finish weapon base tasks at the same time The requirement to unlock Molten Gold also expects you to finish the weapon’s base challenges, like headshots, longshots, and other standard targets. Try to hit these base tasks while you farm the 20 Special enemies. For example, if a mission has many armored foes, bring attachments that increase damage to armor or headshot damage so you can clear the Special enemies and rack up headshot counts at once. Combining steps cuts replay time and keeps the grind focused.
Use multiplayer and Endgame to speed the wider grind Some Milestone or class-wide challenges that lead to later Mastery tiers are easier in multiplayer or Endgame modes. If a campaign task asks for a large total of kills with a weapon type, switch to matches or Endgame runs where you can safely farm high enemy counts. The Endgame mode also gives custom loadouts and tiered zones that make some repetitive tallies faster. Save campaign runs mainly for the Special enemy kills that only count there.
How and when to use a Bot Lobby If you do use a Bot Lobbies BO7, limit those runs to specific, repeatable tasks like early camo tiers, hip-fire targets, or simple headshot counts. A short, focused bot run can clear dozens of small milestones so you do not burn real matches on them. After a bot run, bring your completed steps back into real matches so you learn recoil, range, and map sense under pressure. Keep bot sessions short and intentional.
Set your loadout to match those spawns, and use attachments that make the required kills fast and reliable. Track which base challenges you still need and try to clear multiple of them in one mission. Finally, space your longer runs so you do not burn out; steady progress will get you to Molten Gold more reliably than many long, unfocused sessions.
